Ingredients:
(makes 10 servings)
For mixture:
1 cup makhana
1/4 cup walnuts
3/4 cup almonds
1/4 cup Pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup Sunflower seeds
For masala mix:
½ cup flaxseed
2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
1 tsp thymol seeds (Ajwain)
1 Tbsp. cumin seeds
Asafoetida (Hing)
½ tsp dry Mango powder (OR 2 tbsp chat masala)
½ tsp dry ginger
1 Tbsp. ghee
Table salt to taste
Chili powder to taste
How to prepare:
1. Quick roast all the ingredients on a low flame and then let cool
2. Make a coarse powder of all the roasted ingredients for the masala
3. Add the masala to the roasted ingredients and mix well
4. Store in an air-tight container
