Who said that your salad needs to have exotic ingredients to be interesting?! Dress up your regular cabbage with this easy recipe and enjoy an interesting combination of flavors at home.
Ingredients:
(makes 1 serving)
2 cups shredded green cabbage
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tbsp mustard sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp chopped garlicÂ
½ tsp ground pepper
½ tsp salt
How to prepare:
Whisk the lemon juice, oil, parsley, mustard sauce, honey, chopped garlic, salt and pepper together in a large bowlÂ
Add the chopped cabbage and toss to coat; let stand for 10 minutes. Toss again. Then serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving
