Is jaggery healthier than sugar?



Many of us believe that jaggery is healthier than sugar because it’s less processed and more 'natural', but there is absolutely no difference in how the human body responds to the two! Jaggery is extracted from cane sugar, just as table sugar is. Both are similar in caloric content, have a similar molecular structure and affect the body in exactly the same way.
